Dr. Jeffrey Holmes (left), dean of UAB's engineering school and Robert Howard (r), vice president for IT and chief information officer, received salary increases from the University of Alabama Sytem board of trustees compensation committee.

The University of Alabama System approved salary increases for a University of Alabama at Birmingham dean and vice president.
