A 20-year-old man took his own life during an overnight police chase through two Alabama counties, according to authorities.
The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Capt. Jack Kennedy on Tuesday morning identified the man as Elyis Kani Taylor. He lived in Tuscaloosa.
