The month of May is right around the corner and the 2026 Alabama High School Athletic Association softball season is in full swing on ball fields around the Yellowhammer State. Teams across the seven AHSAA classifications will take the diamond as they compete for a berth in one of the eight-team state tournament brackets May 18-22 in Oxford.
