2026 Alabama high school state track and field meet: AHSAA schedule and where to watch

The Alabama High School Athletic Association's Class 4A-7A State Track meet is held in early May each year in Gulf Shores, Ala. The event packs an economic wallop for Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The City of Fairhope is hoping a new $2.5 million track will also lure big competitions into the city. (file photo).

The month of May is here and the 2026 Alabama High School Athletic Association state track meets are underway. Boys and girls teams and athletes across the seven AHSAA track and field classifications will compete for state titles in Gulf Shores and Cullman.
