22K Volkswagen EVs recalled, owners urged to change charging methods to avoid dangerous risk

Volkswagen is recalling an estimated 22,524 ID4 electric vehicles because of a battery issue that can cause fires. As a result, the automaker is advising owners to make changes to how they charge the vehicles, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
