3 Alabama school desegregation cases dismissed in push to end federal oversight

Three decades-old desegregation cases in Alabama have been dismissed, as part of an effort by federal lawyers to end court oversight of local school systems.

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall praised the effort Thursday.
