34-year-old identified as woman fatally struck by freight train in southwest Birmingham

Authorities have released the name of a woman who was killed when she was hit by a train in southwest Birmingham.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office on Thursday identified the victim as Chantal Janay McCray. She was 34 and from Jacksonville, Florida.
