A longtime Mobile attorney turned himself in Saturday morning on a warrant alleging first-degree theft of property, months after being suspended from practicing law and sued over escrow funds from a failed timber deal.
Willie Julius Huntley Jr., 68, surrendered to the Mobile County Metro Jail at 10:40 a.m. Sept. 5 and was released about two hours later on a $7,500 bond, according to Lagniappe Daily.
