The Montevallo City Council on Monday proposed an ordinance that would curtail late-night alcohol sales following an August incident that resulted in multiple arrests and scholarship losses for university athletes.
The proposed changes would cut off late-night alcohol sales at midnight instead of 2 a.m. for on premise consumption, like at bars and restaurants.
