Alabama college president calls upcoming federal student loan changes ‘foolish’

An Alabama university leader weighed in on upcoming changes to federal student loans, calling them “penny wise, pound foolish.”

If the federal government moves forward with planned changes to student loans, Faulkner University President Mitch Henry said “graduate education would be “financially unfeasible, potentially worsening labor shortages in those critical sectors which did not make the cut.”
