Alabama college receives $1.8 million grant to improve maternal and child health

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is one of only 13 grantees in the nation for child and maternal health education.

UAB’s School of Public Health will receive $1.8 million over the next five years from the Health Resources and Services Administration as a Center of Excellence in Maternal and Health Education.
