Alabama could soon have a third state cemetery for military veterans

The Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs expects to break ground Oct. 15 on the state’s second veterans memorial cemetery in Madison County.

The ADVA is exploring the possibility of a third, which would be in the Wiregrass area.
