Alabama daycare worker did not report husband who sexually abused child, police say

An Alabama couple is under arrest after a child reported being sexually abused by an adoptive father.

Phillip Scott Watts, 47, is charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree sodomy, incest and tampering with physical evidence, the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit announced Wednesday.
