Alabama decertifies mental health nonprofit after finding ‘inadequate’ care

The Arc of Baldwin County, a nonprofit that provides services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will be closing July 15, after the state department of mental health moved to decertify the nonprofit due to what it says are “ongoing concerns” with the care provided.
