An Alabama political candidate is calling on his opponent to give away $450,000 donated by a man facing domestic violence charges.
Christopher Drummond, a member of the prominent Alabama coal family, made two contributions to John Wahl’s campaign for lieutenant governor earlier this year, according to campaign finance records. Drummond donated $250,000 on Jan. 28 and $200,000 on May 26, the records show.
