Following the annual Congressional Basketball Game this week, U.S. Rep. Shomari Figures, D-Ala., said lawmakers’ interactions outside of Congress are probably a lot friendlier than most people think.
When asked by a TMZ reporter about his experience “playing a game with members of the opposition,” Figures stressed the importance of finding opportunities to work together amid ongoing political turbulence.
