Part of southwest Alabama has a high risk for flash flooding that could be widespread. Above is the excessive rainfall outlook for Thursday. Areas in pink (including Mobile) have a high risk (Level 4 out of 4) of excessive rainfall. A large part of the rest of Alabama has a moderate (Level 3) risk.

What’s left of Tropical Storm Arthur could bring dangerous flash flooding and strong storms to Alabama on Thursday and Friday, according to forecasters.
