The Alabama Department of Transportation will suspend temporary lane closures on all interstate routes during the Fourth of July holiday weekend to ease traffic congestion and enhance safety.
The suspension takes effect Friday, July 3, at 6 a.m. and runs through Sunday, July 5 at 11:59 p.m., according to a news release.
