Sectional meets were held throughout the state in Classes 5A, 6A and 7A over the weeked to determine who will go to the state championships this weekend in Gulf Shores.
The top five finishers in each individual event (provided they meet the qualifying standard), as well as the top three relay teams, qualify for the state championships beginning on Thursday. Classes 4A through 7A will be contested at Gulf Shores, while Classes 1A through 3A will be held in Cullman.
