Alabama Power attributes outages in the state’s southern region to extensive tree damage

Alabama Power crews have restored electricity to approximately 90% of customers affected by Hurricane Isaias as of Sunday morning, according to a company update issued at 8 a.m.

More than 390,000 customers experienced outages after the hurricane moved through Alabama, according to the release.
