The new Alabama State House will be ready when lawmakers gather for an organizational session in January, the director of the Legislative Services Agency said Wednesday.
Director Othni Lathram said the goal is to have the staff moved in by election day, Nov. 3. The organizational session, held at the start of every four-year term, begins on Jan. 12.
