Alabama’s oldest restaurant, closed after fire, hopes to bring out food truck

Work continues on reopening Irondale’s Golden Rule Bar-B-Q after a fire damaged the interior earlier this month.

The restaurant has been closed since Oct. 7, when an early morning kitchen fire erupted. No one was injured.
