Charlie Moore had deep roots in Alabama’s baseball history. Not only is he among the 11 former Alabama high school players to appear in at least 15 Major League seasons since Jackie Robinson re-integrated the big leagues in 1947, but he scored on the final RBI of Hank Aaron’s career on Oct. 3, 1976.
