The University of Alabama at Birmingham has received a $5 million gift to expand cancer research.
Norman Estes is donating $5 million to UAB’s O’Neal Cancer Center. The gift will “expand access to innovative cancer therapies for patients across Alabama and the Southeast,” UAB said in a news release.
