Alabama voters approved 31 of 32 local constitutional amendments Tuesday, rejecting only a proposed property school tax in Henry County, according to returns from the Alabama Secretary of State’s Office.
The amendments appeared on ballots in 26 counties and addressed issues ranging from property taxes and probate courts to retirement benefits for local officials.
