Alabama will require audits after general elections under bill bound for Ivey’s desk

The Alabama Legislature has passed a bill requiring limited audits of election results after every general election.

The bill, HB95 by Rep. Joe Lovvorn, R-Auburn, passed the Senate by a vote of 22-7, with Republicans supporting it and Democrats opposed.
