A north Alabama woman was arrested on Mother’s Day and charged with the fatal shooting of her husband, who she said had been “poking” her all day as she tried to sleep.
Sheri Mitchell-Clutts, 65, called the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on the evening of May 10 and told the dispatcher she had shot her husband Timothy Clutts, 69, according to officials.
