Alabama zoo bird thrives with new prosthetic beak created by dentistry school

A collaboration between the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry and the Birmingham Zoo has given new life to a green aracari bird after a beak injury threatened its ability to eat and interact normally.
