An Amtrak passenger train struck and killed a woman in Irvington on Monday evening, marking the third fatal incident involving the rail line in the Mobile area this year.
Mobile police told NBC 15 that the woman was sitting on the tracks when the Amtrak Mardi Gras line struck her around 6 p.m.
