Archbishop Mark Rivituso of Mobile stood on the Mobile Bay bridge on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026, as he led a prayer for safety from the approaching Hurricane Isaias.
The archbishop stood at the historical marker on the Mobile Bay bridge that explains how it was first called “Bay of the Holy Spirit” by Spanish explorers in 1519.
