An Athens, Ala., man died Friday after the vehicle he was driving struck a bridge culvert, according to State Trooper Jaylon James with Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The accident occurred at 4:15 p.m. on New Cut Road near Lydia Corey Road three miles east of Athens in Limestone County.
