Independent hip-hop artist and creative entrepreneur Mr.Reaper, born Bernard Walls, is bringing his expanding ReaperVerse projects together under a distinct creative identity. Spanning music, visual storytelling, satire and footwear design, the work examines human behavior, personal identity and the contradictions of everyday life.
Built around the motto “AWARE. ALERT. UNTAMED.”, ReaperVerse encourages people to observe beyond appearances, remain ready to question what they see, and think independently rather than follow expectations. Its recurring series examine familiar experiences through humor, symbolism and reflection, exploring perception, conformity and resilience.
“ReaperVerse started with the way I observe the world around me. I’ve always believed there’s more to people and situations than what we see on the surface. Music gave me one way to express those thoughts, but I wanted to explore them through different forms of creativity. ReaperVerse allows me to turn those observations into stories, art, humor and ideas that people can interpret through their own experiences,” said Mr.Reaper.
Mr.Reaper Case Files examines patterns of behavior and social contradictions, while The Lost Files revisits overlooked experiences and perspectives. NPC Observations satirizes recognizable personalities and interactions. Corporate Survival Files turns workplace frustrations and professional culture into pointed humor.
ReaperVerse Artifacts gives symbolic form to principles such as discipline, discernment and resilience. Each object carries a meaning that invites audiences to engage with an idea through visual storytelling.
The project’s authentication system was created to give every work a distinct identity and a lasting place in the evolving ReaperVerse archive. Unique file IDs and serial numbers distinguish each creation, while the “MR.REAPER APPROVED” seal marks Mr.Reaper’s creative approval. Recurring coordinates honor the project’s geographic roots. Together with “AWARE. ALERT. UNTAMED.”, these elements connect individual pieces to a larger philosophy of observation, readiness and independent thought.
Although ReaperVerse uses AI-generated images in its visual presentation, the creative groundwork remains Mr.Reaper’s own. He develops the concepts, narratives, philosophical themes and artistic direction behind each piece. AI is used to help visualize those ideas, not to originate the meaning or purpose of the work.
The foundation of the project can be traced to Mr.Reaper’s musical background. He began writing at age 13 after hearing Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s “Tha Crossroads,” developing an interest in storytelling shaped by emotion and personal experience. His catalog includes One Life, My Escape and Thru The Dark, as well as Options, a collaboration with Wiz Khalifa.
That same creative identity extends into fashion through the REAPER Shoe Collection, featuring Italian-made footwear developed through AliveShoes. Designs including REAPER X DOOM offer another way for Mr.Reaper to express ideas beyond recorded music.
Mr.Reaper is also preparing a new song centered on ReaperVerse, bringing the project’s philosophy and creative themes directly into his music. The forthcoming track marks another development in the relationship between his recordings and visual storytelling. The song title and release date have not yet been announced.
