Birmingham approves $4.1 million for athletic court upgrades at 32 schools

More than 30 Birmingham City Schools elementary and middle schools will receive new or renovated athletic courts.

The Birmingham City Council approved items related to the project during its Aug. 25 meeting. The $4.1 million project will upgrade athletic courts at 18 elementary and middle schools and install new outdoor courts at 14 schools.
