Birmingham-based Vulcan Materials Co. has acquired the operations of a company doing business in two states while pulling out of a third.
The nation’s largest producer of construction aggregates - the raw materials used in construction such as sand, stone and gravel - this week acquired the operations of Brannan Sand & Gravel in southern Colorado and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
