Birmingham restaurant empire faces nearly $10 million in lawsuits, liens: See the list

One of Birmingham’s most prominent restaurant companies is navigating two lawsuits totaling more than $1 million for unpaid bills, and liens in two counties from a developer with a total topping more than $8 million.

Pihakis Restaurant Group (PRG) has closed as many as 12 restaurants over the last two-and-a-half weeks - some temporarily, some permanently - as it grapples with what it last week termed its “hardest decisions.”
