Blippi and Snoop Dogg’s Doggyland are bringing Hip Hop to the ice cream truck. The preschool entertainment brands have teamed up for “My Ice Cream Truck (Doggyland Version),” a new take on Blippi’s song that combines music, movement and a familiar neighborhood stop.
Released on Doggyland’s YouTube channel and major audio streaming platforms, the song marks the first musical collaboration between Blippi and Doggyland: Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes. People shared an exclusive first look at the accompanying music video.
The video follows Blippi as he surprises Doggyland characters Bow Wizzle and Yap Yap with a trip to his favorite ice cream truck. Their visit becomes a singalong, pairing Blippi’s exploration-based storytelling with Doggyland’s Hip Hop-inspired approach to children’s music.
Snoop Dogg Finds Common Ground With Blippi
For Snoop Dogg, who co-created Doggyland and voices its adult mentor, Bow Wizzle, the collaboration connects two familiar approaches to helping children learn through entertainment.
“Doggyland and Blippi coming together for a collab couldn’t be a better fit,” Snoop Dogg said. “Blippi’s a big deal in my house, so I know he shares some of that Doggyland DNA when it comes to learning and making it fun. And what’s more fun than an ice cream song? It’s going to be a stone-cold classic right in time for summer.”
The song is part of Blippi’s Year of Vehicles, a yearlong slate of vehicle-themed adventures across the franchise’s shows and channels. Here, the ice cream truck provides the setting for an activity children can recognize and follow through song and dance.
“Blippi is all about making learning about the world as fun as possible, and what better way to do that than with music and an ice cream truck?” said Mike Katzman, general manager of core brands at Moonbug Entertainment. “Bringing Blippi and Doggyland together makes this fan-favorite song even more playful, giving families another fun way to sing, dance, and discover something new together.”
Doggyland’s Approach to Music and Learning
Launched in 2022, Doggyland was co-created by Snoop Dogg, Emmy-nominated producer Claude Brooks, and singer-songwriter October London. Its animated cast sings, raps, and dances through lessons about affirmations, letters, numbers, colors, animals, healthy habits, and accepting others.
The series uses music and storytelling to support social-emotional and cognitive development. Bow Wizzle guides a group that includes Woofee, voiced by October London; Yap Yap; Chow Wow; and Barks-A-Locks.
That approach reflects an intention Snoop Dogg described when the series launched.
“I’ve always wanted to create a kid-friendly series that lets kids be kids and is truly representative of the culture with everything from the music to the characters.”
He added, “When I started to build my team, it was only right to partner with Claude, who created the iconic series, Hip Hop Harry, which built the blueprint to diverse kids programming, and October London, a talented singer and writer.”
Brooks, CEO of C To The B Productions, brought experience in children’s programming as the creator and producer of Hip Hop Harry. October London’s involvement grew from a creative relationship with Snoop Dogg that began after their introduction in Los Angeles in 2016.
According to the announcement, Doggyland had amassed 1.3 million YouTube subscribers, more than 300 videos, and 12 million listeners across music platforms. The series has also received NAACP Image Award, Telly Award, and Mom’s Choice Award recognition.
Blippi Expands Its Musical Adventures

Blippi, part of Moonbug Entertainment, centers its programming on preschoolers’ curiosity about the world. The franchise features Blippi and Meekah in adventures that encourage exploration, participation, and learning through play.
According to Moonbug, the brand averages more than 1 billion monthly YouTube views and reaches more than 100 million fans worldwide. Its programming is available in more than 25 languages, including American Sign Language, across more than 65 distribution platforms.
Moonbug, which is part of Candle Media, also produces children’s entertainment brands including CoComelon and Little Angel. Its business spans video, music, games, consumer products and live experiences.
