Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey, who received 25% of the vote in last week’s Republican primary for attorney general, has endorsed Jay Mitchell in the GOP runoff.
Mitchell, who resigned from the Alabama Supreme Court to run for the office, faces Katherine Robertson in the June 16 runoff. Robertson is the longtime chief counsel for Attorney General Steve Marshall.
