Guests attended a cocktail hour followed by dinner catered by Wolfgang Puck.

Lee, Stockton’s vice mayor, founded the nonprofit in 2022. The dinner connected its community work with supporters from entertainment, business, and philanthropy.
Entertainment and Business Leaders Support the Cause
Attendees included Lizzo, Tiffany Haddish, Law Roach, Bozoma Saint John, Evan Ross, Mona Scott, Tyrese, Joyner Lucas, Steven Cloobeck and Lou Young III.
The foundation also named Gary Vaynerchuk, Paris Hilton and Robert Smith as additional donors supporting the effort.
For Lee, the gathering represented an opportunity to turn those connections into resources for Stockton’s young people.
“Stockton’s young people deserve the same access to opportunity as anyone else, and nights like this remind me that people are willing to show up for that belief,” Lee said. “I’m grateful to Cardi B and everyone in that room for putting real resources behind our youth – this isn’t charity, it’s an investment in what Stockton can become.”
The foundation did not disclose a fundraising total in its announcement.
Funding Leadership, Wellness and Community Programs
Proceeds will support the foundation’s ongoing Stockton programming, including Leadership Unlocked youth summits, I AM READY workshops and Toys for Joy.
These initiatives support its broader mission to expand access to leadership development, civic participation, and mental health and wellness resources. The foundation works across entertainment, philanthropy, business, government, and grassroots organizations to support that mission.
The Beverly Hills dinner provided additional funding for programs intended to reach young people in their communities.
Building Toward a Stockton Youth Center
Hollywood Cares Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established to connect pop culture’s reach with opportunities for underserved youth.
According to the foundation, its work has included securing a $12.4 million state grant to build the I AM READY Stockton Youth Center, a planned youth mental health facility.
The center represents a longer-term component of the organization’s work, alongside workshops, summits, and community initiatives supported by fundraising events such as the Beverly Hills dinner.
