A Jefferson County man has been sentenced to federal prison for his role in a conspiracy to kidnap a man in exchange for payment of a drug debt.
A federal judge sentenced 20-year-old Amarion Dewayne Jackson, of Center Point, to nearly 20 years in prison, followed by five years of probation, according to a Monday announced from Northern District of Alabama U.S. Attorney Phil Williams.
