Chase that ended in Alabama police chaplain’s death was ‘unnecessary, negligent,’ lawsuit says

The daughter of a Montgomery Police Department chaplain killed in 2024 when his car was hit by fleeing suspect has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against multiple police departments and officers.
