On Thursday, March 26, 2026, the President signed into law:

H.R. 3377, which authorizes the President to award the Medal of Honor to James Capers, Jr., for acts of valor as a member of the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War;

H.R. 7194, the “Nicholas Dockery Medal of Honor Act,” which authorizes the President to award the Medal of Honor to Nicholas Dockery for acts of valor as a member of the Army while serving in Afghanistan; and

H.R. 7211, which authorizes the President to award the Medal of Honor to John W. Ripley for acts of valor during the Vietnam War, and for other purposes.
