Core 40 Houston Brings DJs Together Nov. 12–16

Core DJs Worldwide will bring its Core 40 retreat to Houston Nov. 12–16, 2026, for five days of programming celebrating the organization’s 21st anniversary.

According to an Oct. 23 update from organizers, 553 DJs have registered, and registration remains open. The event’s host hotel room block has sold out, while all press passes have been claimed.

Five Days of Music and Industry Connections

The retreat’s announced programming includes panels, live radio, nightlife and networking, organized around the theme “Network. Learn. Grow. Celebrate.”

Organizers said the panel lineup is confirmed, with the full guest and session list still to be announced. The program will combine opportunities for professional exchange with social events marking the anniversary.

The event’s registration listing identifies the Cambria Hotel Houston Downtown Convention Center as its venue. Additional programming details are expected from organizers ahead of the retreat. Celebrating 21 Years

Registration Remains Open

Although the designated hotel block is full, organizers say event registration remains open. Attendees who have not secured accommodations are being encouraged to arrange lodging nearby.

Media registration has closed. Organizers said all press passes have been claimed, and they are no longer accepting additional media requests for Core 40.

Sponsors Join the Celebration

The event’s promotional materials list sponsors including 1501 Certified Entertainment, Shade 45, Def Jam Recordings, Silky Records, and Uber, among others.

The Houston gathering will bring the organization’s anniversary celebration together with programming focused on the people working across DJ culture, radio, and the music business.
