Damaging winds and quarter-sized hail expected with thunderstorms in Marengo and Sumter counties Wednesday

On Wednesday at 1:56 p.m. a severe thunderstorm warning was released by the National Weather Service in effect until 2:45 p.m. for Marengo and Sumter counties.

Prepare for quarter-sized hail (1 inch) and wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
