Damaging winds foreseen with thunderstorms to hit Lamar and Marion counties Tuesday – gusts could peak at 60 mph

The National Weather Service released a severe thunderstorm warning at 10:55 p.m. on Tuesday in effect until 11:45 p.m. for Lamar and Marion counties.

Residents should be prepared for wind gusts of up to 60 mph.
