South Alabama on Saturday landed a 2027 football commitment from Daphne High School quarterback Christian Segar.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Segar passed for 2,775 yards and 37 touchdowns with just four interceptions in 2025, leading the Trojans to a 9-3 record and the second round of the Class 7A playoffs. He was named Honorable Mention All-State by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.
