Dead chicken and geckos, 14 malnourished dogs found at Jefferson County home; woman charged

A Jefferson County woman was arrested early Friday on more than a dozen misdemeanor animal cruelty charges.

Jordan Ruth Allred, 36, is charged with 14 counts of second-degree cruelty to a dog or cat, according to court records made public Friday.
