DeBoer: Alabama’s QB play ‘wasn’t up to the standard’ in scrimmage

Alabama football’s quarterback battle continued on Friday, with Austin Mack and Keelon Russell splitting first-team reps in the Crimson Tide’s second spring scrimmage. The two are competing to replace Ty Simpson as UA’s starter, and Friday’s scrimmage was their first time working in Bryant-Denny Stadium this offseason.
