5 hours ago 1

Rising Filipina R&B singer/songwriter and producer Denise Julia announces the details of her forthcoming LOVE AGAIN EP. Across 6 tracks she will deliver smooth and sensual R&B/Soul music equipped with airy vocals and layered harmonies. LOVE AGAIN will be available for streaming on July 23, and today Denise shares the title track “LOVE AGAIN” out now via 2nd Floor Entertainment/EMPIRE.

“LOVE AGAIN” follows early singles “2GOOD4U” and “Changes” that garnered praise from Billboard and Billboard Philippines, VIBE, Okayplayer, Sweety High, and more. On the new single, she says: “how does it feel to love again?” was written as both a question and a confession. It’s asking someone how it feels to open themselves up to love again, but it’s also me questioning it myself. Sometimes lust can feel so close to love that you start wondering where the line even is. The song lives in that gray area between desire and intimacy, vs. vulnerability and the fear of truly feeling again”.

Earlier this year, Denise Julia announced two key new partnerships. The first with indie label powerhouse, EMPIRE, and the second with touring giant United Talent Agency. These underscore a commitment to further develop her as a global artist, with a desire to provide more infrastructure needed to reach maximum global success. Denise Julia caught attention in 2022 with her song “NVMD” which helped solidify her as a rising star within the global music landscape. The single accumulated 200M streams on Spotify and reached the Top 20 of Spotify’s Global Viral chart. She continued her rise in 2023 when she collaborated with her now labelmate–the RIAA certified rapper P-Lo–for their single “B.A.D.” off her debut EP, Sweet Nothings (Chapter 1). The single peaked at #7 on Spotify Philippines, entered the Top 50 of Spotify’s Global Viral Chart, and reached #4 on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100. She has since followed up with Sweet Nothings (Chapter 2) and performed the title track on On The Radar. Denise Julia has appeared on festival stages including Head In The Clouds Manila in 2022 and Wavy Baby Music Festival in Cebu in 2023.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Denise Julia is known for her smooth R&B sound and emotionally resonant songwriting because she was heavily influenced by early 2000s R&B and pop. She first captured widespread attention through viral covers and original releases on TikTok before breaking out globally. Denise Julia quickly became the most-streamed Filipina artist on Spotify for three consecutive months and remains one of the country’s top-streamed acts, with nearly 3 million monthly listeners.
