Dense fog advisory for Alabama until Sunday morning – visibility down to 1/4 mile

A dense fog advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 1:20 a.m. in effect until 9 a.m. for Walker, Blount, Etowah, Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Clay and Randolph counties.

"Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "All areas in the affected counties will not have dense fog. It will be most likely in areas that received rainfall Saturday afternoon and evening."
