Fabolous, Maino, Dave East & Jim Jones Celebrate ‘Let’s Rap About It’ Anniversary

Hip-hop heavyweights Fabolous, Maino, Dave East, and Jim Jones celebrated the one-year anniversary of their breakout podcast, Let’s Rap About It, with a special celebration in New York City on Saturday, October 10. Held at Partake NYC, a Queens-based restaurant and lounge, the celebration brought out their fans, hip-hop enthusiasts, and industry tastemakers for a night of classic New York energy and a firsthand look at their undeniable chemistry.

The evening was curated to feel like an extension of the podcast itself, a family-style atmosphere where all four hosts could come together to commemorate its success and milestone. A night to remember, the epic evening was a full blown celebration complete with high energy, good music, and style. More than just a party, the night brought the spirit of the podcast to life through the hosts’ on-stage commentary, exclusive merch, and a meet and greet, creating a true celebration of the fans and culture that have fueled its breakout year.

In keeping with the hosts’ signature styles, guests showed out in statement kicks, stilettos, and the now-infamous “kitten heels.” The latter sparked one of the podcast’s most memorable debates, which went viral after the hosts weighed in on whether low heels belong in the club.

DJ Wavey and DJ First Choice had guests vibing out to a blended set filled with some of the host’s classic favorites and latest hits including Fabolous’ “Brooklyn Badness (WYFL Freestyle),” Maino’s “NY Love,” Dave East’s “It Gotta Be Me,” and Jim Jones’ “In the Car.”

The evening kicked off with hip-hop veterans Fabolous, Maino, Dave East, and Jim Jones expressing their gratitude to one another and their fans for their continued support of the podcast and individual projects.

Additional notable attendees included Remy Ma, Lil Mama, Albee Al, Kocky Ka, Chrissy Lampkin, and Connie Diamond, adding to the unforgettable evening.
